When Mary heard the words of the angel saying that she would conceive and bear a son who would be the savior of the world, her first response was “how can this be?”  It seemed impossible to her that God would move outside of the parameters that seemed to rule her life.  In another blog, I discussed Mary’s response to the angel of God, which was “be it unto me according to what you have said.”  Mary was wise to agree with the messenger of God and believe that with God all things are possible!  By exercising faith (agreeing with what God said about the matter), she put herself in a position to change the world!

In March, I stepped away from a familiar, safe and comfortable place to do the impossible, “to be a psalmist to the nation.”  Those who know me personally know that I love to write songs, worship God through the medium of music, and live a lifestyle of worship.  Does this qualify me to be a “psalmist to the nation?”  I don’t think so!  Only God can qualify me.  Am I equipped to be a “psalmist to the nation?”   Maybe partially!   God equips the people He calls!  Do I have the finances to do what I’m called to do?  If you could see my checkbook, you would know the answer is NO!!  Thank God I am an ambassador of His kingdom, and because He has enough, I have enough!  I choose to agree with what He says, and to put myself in a position to change the world!

In the next paragraph or two, I would like to tell you some of the dream, and how you can partner with me to “TRANSFORM LIVES THROUGH PASSIONATE WORSHIP!”

I have joined forces with the Christian Independent Alliance and Artists in Christian Testimony International, a not for profit group which promotes sharing the Gospel through music and the arts.  I can now accept donations and provide tax receipts for contributions made!  The funds you provide go toward ministry expenses such as travel, production of music and curriculum etc.  They are held in a separate account, for David Byrd Ministries, and administered on behalf of my ministry department.

I have the opportunity to record my next project in California with a great producer and some of the very best studio musicians on the planet!  I am also working on securing two wonderful Dove Award winners to sing duets with me.  I believe God will provide enough finances to cover every expense associated with the project!  Production will be about $5,000 to $6,000 per song.  While this seems so impossible in our current economic state, just remember “with God, NOTHING is ever impossible, and no word from God shall be without power, or impossible of fulfillment."   Luke 1:37 Amplified.
